This new position will provide orthopedic primary care services, including assessing, diagnosing, prescribing, treating, and educating patients. Will assist surgeon as a First Assistant in the operating room with specific intraoperative procedures. Requires Wisconsin licensure as Advanced Practice Nurse Practitioner (APNP) or Physician Assistant (PA). Prescriptive authority required. Prior experience in a surgery environment is required, orthopedic preferred. Prior experience in a clinic and/or emergency setting helpful.
